REVOLUTIONIZING THE WORLD OF VACCINE DEVELOPMENT
REVOLUTIONIZING THE WORLD OF VACCINE DEVELOPMENT
THE CHALLENGE
In view of environmental and demographic changes, the demand for safe and effective vaccines is rising. Addressing this need, various viral vector technologies have been shown to deliver highly effective immune responses and to possess favourable stability characteristics, however, to also induce anti-vector immunity. To sustainbly provide the global health system with effective vaccines against various infectious diseases and cancer in a quick and cost-effective way, a vaccine technology must lack anti-vector immunity to allow repeated administration in the same vaccinee.
THE SOLUTION
Utilizing the modular design of our innovative and safe viral platform technology, we generate highly effective mono- or multivalent vaccines against infectious diseases and cancer in a cost- and time-efficient manner. Importantly, the application of our preventive and therapeutic vaccines results in balanced B- and T-cell immune responses without the need for any additional adjuvants or the necessity of viral vector multiplication. Due to a lack of neutralizing antibodies targeting the Orf virus (ORFV), multiple immunizations using our technology can be performed easily without any loss in efficacy.
The design of our vaccine vectors comprise
tumor- or pathogen-specific antigens, as well as accessory transgenes encoding for
molecules or immunostimulatory elements
to orchestrate the immune response and maximize immunity. Due to our innovative selection system, these highly potent and safe vaccines will be available within few weeks.
OUR PLATFORM TECHNOLOGY OFFERS HIGH FLEXIBILITY FOR APPLICATION
VERSATILE USE
Our platform technology has been applied to many different host species including non-human primates and humans targeting various diseases. The very diverse application possibilities of the ORFV platform technology therefore result in a correspondingly large market and customer potential.
